I LOVE to travel. Living in a land-locked state that experinces long, cold, icy winters; I wanted to find a way to get my family somewhere warm, see something new and to have an enriching experience. 

When my kids were small, we started visiting Disney World and Universal Studios with my mom who ran the Disney marathons. We went a little overboard, because by the time my daughter was 10 she had visited Disney 17 times, each with a minimum of a 7 day stay.These trips have continued to this day as we go to Orland and the theme parks once a year for her dance competitons. That girl knows her way around Disney and Universal! 

We all agreed that our favorite memories were when we brought along family to share in the expereience. The laughs shared and time together are some of our most cherished memories. Getting to go with a group of friends made the experience even better! At one point on a Disney vacation, my oldest brother asked me if I ever wanted to go anywhere else. Of course I did! But dance, rollercoasters, mouse ears and butter beer had called us back time and time again. 

As my daughter went off to dance in college (still happily making our annual visit to Orlando), we decided we would create more time inbetween school and sports to start traveling with my son. He was adamant that we continue to go to Orlando! As much as I am a Disney Adult (and Harry Potter Adult, hands down my favorite place to visit in Orlando)  I wanted to start exploring the world and exposing him to diffrent cultures, places, ideas and experiences. 

About 5 years ago, my husband and I looked around on Christmas morning and decided we wanted to start giving them experiences over things. We had been on a few cruises and had gone to Mexico as adults-only trips but we decided it was time to bring them along. I must admit, it was difficult to get my son excited about other activites that were not rollercoasters but he warmed up to the idea. Literally. He loved every second of his first cruise! Being 13, he was able to be on his own in the teen club, make new friends, play basketball, eat unlimited ice cream and his favorite new hobby was island hopping. He was planning our next cruise on our second day at sea! My favorite part? Getting to spend time with him, engaged in spending time together as a family. It was fantastic!

My immediate response to him planning more trips was thinking about how I could help others do the same. As a project manager, I knew I could bring my background in management into the travel industry.  So here I am, I am passionate about travel and helping others expereince the joy that I have found throughout the years. And if I am saving money, you are going to save money with me! My goal is to give you the best deal and the best value I can. I truly am an advocate for traveling with family and friends and even solo travelers. Whatever works for you is the best way to relax, unwind and find a new adventure. 

When I am not traveling I can be found reading a historical fiction or fantasy novel, playing with my dog (Lala), hiking the local trails, and being a sports mom.  I specialize in cuise planning, Disney Vacations, Universal Vacations and All-Inclusive beach destinations.
